Runners Weather Stormy Morning for Freedom Fest 5K

Early Saturday morning on May 23rd, runners kicked off Fiesta Amistad 2015 (Freedom Fest) with a 5K, braving rainstorms that had been passing through the area. A 5K course was laid out in Settler's Park, the weather cleared up, and an enjoyable 1st Annual 5K was run. Round Rock El Amistad Club would like to thank all the runners who showed up and participated.

The 6th Annual Fiesta Amistad Auto Show & Swap Meet To Be Held Saturday, May 23rd, 2015

The 6th Annual Fiesta Amistad Auto Show & Swap Meet will be held in conjunction with the 46th Annual Fiesta Amistad “Freedom Fest” on Saturday, May 23rd, 2015.

Registration starts at 9:00am, trophies will be awarded at 3:00pm.

2015 Round Rock El Amistad Scholarship Recipients Announced at Banquet

For almost half a century, El Amistad Club of Round Rock is proud to award scholarships to local area high school seniors who are continuing their education well after graduation.

This year, on May 1st, 2015, El Amistad presented it's scholarship finalists at a banquet hosted at Cedar Ridge High School. This year we awarded over $100,000 to 96 students. The Scholarship Banquet's Master of Ceremonies was Gonsalvo Monsante and keynote speakers were Gerardo Castillo and Val Velasquez.

Eight Veterans will be recognized at this year’s Round Rock El Amistad Fiesta “Freedom Fest”.

Round Rock El Amistad Club Scholarship Golf Classic 2015

Save the date, September 20, 2015, for this year’s golf classic. Held at the scenic Cowan Creek Golf Club in Georgetown, Texas, this event is always a good time and a wonderful way to help Round Rock El Amistad Club provide scholarship money for graduating high school seniors.

The tournament will be a 4 person scramble with an 8:00am shotgun start.

Cost is $90 per player/$360 per team.
